Bio
She’s called the Carol Burnett of Conventions, the Energizer Bunny in high-heeled shoes, a redhead Amy Poehler. Becky McCrary is a nationally recognized expert on business communication and relationship networking. She spent twenty years in banking, didn’t get the promotion, and began her professional speaking career over a decade ago.

While managing a call center, she reduced service complaints from an average of 60 per month to an average of one per quarter. She’s been named Business Development Professional of the Year by a national trade association. Becky is the author of Relationship Networking “On Purpose!,” a guide to move you from the comfort of the wall in to the power, action and business found in the center of the room. She is a professional member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and is Past-President of the Carolinas Chapter of NSA.

Becky has earned the prestigious Certified Speaking Professional credential from the National Speakers Association. The speaking profession’s international measure of speaking experience and skill, the CSP is conferred by the National Speakers Association (NSA) and the International Federation for Professional Speakers only on accomplished professional speakers who have earned it by meeting strict criteria.

Becky inspires individuals to deliver fabulous service, build lasting relationships, and have more fun. One of her core messages is “People will talk about you. The good news is you get to write the script.” Participants rave about her stories of life’s slip-ups and successes because they transcend business and personal relationships.

Becky has taken her wit and wisdom to corporations and associations in 36 states and the Gulf of Mexico. Yes, she was on a cruise ship. But she was speaking!

Event Planning

She spent twenty years in banking, didn’t get the promotion, and began her professional speaking career over a decade ago.
She is a nationally recognized expert on business communication and relationship networking…a professional member of the National Speakers Association…and author of the guide to the center of the room, Relationship Networking “On Purpose!” She has earned the prestigious Certified Speaking Professional designation, one of only 208 women in the world who hold this credential.
She inspires individuals to deliver fabulous service, build lasting relationships, and have more fun. She’s worked with corporations and associations from Maine to Florida to California.

Please help me welcome…Becky McCrary.

Supplies: Please provide a PowerPoint data projector, lavaliere mic, two flip charts (preferably the post-it type, as we'll put these up), and markers. I'll need a small table at the front of the room for water, visuals, etc. Becky will need an electric fan on the riser with her. It doesn't matter what the temperature is outside. She needs the fan!


Room Set Up: Depending on the number of attendees and room size, my favorite set up is half-rounds … followed by U-shaped for training or theater for speaking. Please provide a suitable speaking platform when audiences number 60 or more.


Handouts: I'll provide a master copy of the Participant Note-Taking Guide 30 days prior to the event. Please provide suitable copies to ensure that each participant receives one.


Hotel arrangements: Hotel accommodations are always guaranteed by and directly billed to the client. Becky requires a non-smoking room, king is preferred, but double is doable, preferably at the event site, guaranteed late arrival the night before.
